The human gap
A science teacher with a 28-student class cannot complete a full exam grading cycle in a single session without switching between three tools. The switching causes errors and extends 8–12 minutes of actual marking to 47 minutes of total time.
The business gap
The platform cannot demonstrate measurable reduction in teacher administrative time — the primary argument in renewal conversations. Without evidence, renewals depend on relationship rather than demonstrated value.
Discovery questions
Watch a teacher complete a full grading cycle — all tool-switching, recalculation, and waiting. Watch a school admin receive and process a submission. Observe what the school system requires: file format, required fields, confirmation mechanism.

What we have not yet witnessed
School admin side: We have watched Gal email grades to the school office. We have not observed what happens on arrival — what the admin does, what the school system requires, whether a platform receipt is accepted or a specific file format needed. Submission feature blocked until observed.
Other teacher types: All observation is with science teachers. Whether math teachers — primarily open-ended with partial credit — have a materially different workflow is unknown.
